Summary

Pigmento doesn't require an account and doesn't ask for personal information. The tools run in your browser.

Information stored on your device

The chromatic circle studio can save palettes you create in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

YouTube videos

The Watch & Learn page and some lessons show YouTube videos. Until you press play, only a thumbnail image is loaded from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com), which shares your IP address with Google. When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode), and Google's privacy policy applies.

Fonts

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with them. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Advertising (planned)

We plan to use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or visit www.aboutads.info. Before ads go live, we'll add a consent tool where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland).

Analytics (planned)

We may add privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful. This policy will be updated to name the provider and what it collects.

Sponsored course listings

Some pages show course listings that teachers pay to place, always labelled Sponsored or Featured listing. They are plain links: we don't share your data with sponsors, and if you follow one, the sponsor's site and privacy policy apply.

Affiliate links (planned)

Some future links to art supplies may be affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer's privacy policy applies on their site.

Newsletter

The newsletter form is currently a non-functional placeholder and doesn't collect any data.

Children

Pigmento is a general-audience educational site and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children.
